Petre Leather is family owned. I started tooling leather at the age of 14. Every item is hand carved, hand-crafted, custom-made leather. Every design is original and unique to the custom order.
Tooling leather for one of the largest ranches in the Texas Hill Country, my work became well known. Orders started coming in. Having to juggle school, sports and now a leather business, life became very busy and had the great support of my family. Through the years I taught leather craft for Boy Scouts, 4-H Clubs, and a state facility. But the true love of the art, my sole passion is what I have returned to. Now with a wonderful husband who helps me with assembly process and the growing business, we are creating original designs.
